Beyond The Bell
Beyond The Bell
Beyond the Bell is more than a program—it is a steady, reliable lifeline for students and families experiencing food insecurity. Through direct partnerships with schools, SRFDC meets families where they are by ensuring consistent access to nutritious food in a place that feels safe, familiar, and welcoming.
This hybrid school pantry approach does more than address hunger in the moment, it creates stability and ongoing support. By providing reliable access to food beyond the school day, over weekends, and during school breaks and holidays, families are better able to stretch their resources while students receive support beyond traditional school meals, helping them stay focused, engaged, and prepared to learn and thrive.
The Beyond the Bell program is currently operational in schools across the southern New Jersey region, serving students at varying grade levels.

Adopt a Student
The Adopt-A-Student program provides critical support for our school-based Beyond the Bell pantries, helping ensure that students and their families have access to nutritious food and essential resources. Through this initiative, we are able to reduce barriers to food access, support student well-being, and strengthen connections between schools, families, and the community.
By investing in Adopt-A-Student, you help extend the reach and impact of our Beyond the Bell school pantry program, allowing us to create a more sustainable support system for students and families experiencing food insecurity.
With varying levels of support available, your continued partnership helps us expand our reach to additional schools, strengthen our support for existing school partners, and ensure that no child is left wondering where their next meal will come from—today, tomorrow, and in the years ahead. Support can be provided in a way that works best for you, whether through personal giving, professional partnerships, or an employer-sponsored payroll deduction program.
