Providing shelter, support and hope.

Give hope to those who need it most

At Rural Development Corp, our acceptance of donations of food, clothing, and home items from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm, plays a vital role in supporting our shelter guests and pantry partners. This initiative not only helps meet immediate needs but also ensures that resources are distributed based on the specific needs of those we serve.

By accepting such donations, we create a pathway for community members to contribute directly to helping others in need. This collaborative effort not only addresses necessities like food and clothing but also fosters a sense of community and support among donors and recipients alike.

Our commitment to facilitating these donations underscores our dedication to providing comprehensive support to those experiencing hardship, contributing to greater stability and well-being in the community

All monetary donations, unless otherwise specified by the donor, are used to support the structure and programs provided to our shelter guests. One hundred percent of donated money is utilized by the shelter and no administrative percentage is taken from monetary donations.

We are currently seeking financial support for our outdoor living enhancement program which includes a new playground for our young children and an outdoor workout and recreational area for our older children and adults.

We also accept physical donations of toiletries and clothing – men, women, and children – in new or gently used condition.

We currently have a need for new undergarments for men, women and children in all styles and sizes as well as personal toiletries.

In addition, we accept new and gently used housewares – bedding, towels, kitchen, and dishware – to assist our guests as they leave the shelter to move to permanent housing.

All physical donations can be delivered to our warehouse/administration building Monday- Friday, 8:30am-4pm.

Whether for our shelter or our food distribution center, we accept nonperishable, nonexpired food items. Items can be delivered to our warehouse/administration building during donation hours or dropped off anytime at our can drive bins located at the base of the driveway.

Organizations looking to donate bulk items, especially food, should contact 856-327-3145 to make delivery arrangements.
